ACUVUE® OASYS Brand Contact Lenses
for ASTIGMATISM

Why ask for them?

Maybe you've been told you can't wear contacts because you have an astigmatism. Or perhaps you're experiencing discomfort, blurred or fluctuating vision with your current lenses. Now with ACUVUE® OASYS for ASTIGMATISM you can leave all that behind.

We combined the visual stability of our revolutionary Accelerated Stabilization Design and the exceptional comfort of HYDRACLEAR® Plus** technology to form a lens like no other. The result is consistently clear vision that's remarkably comfortable - even for people with an active lifestyle.

Advanced Design
Accelerated Stabilization Design HELPS BEAT THE BLUR

Accelerated Stabilization Design (ASD) uses the power of every blink to help keep your vision crisp, clear, and stable all day long - even for people with an active lifestyle.

ASD helps minimize shifting and lens rotation to keep your lenses right where they need to be. ASD lenses feature four zones of stability, instead of the single ballast zone found in most astigmatic lenses. The result is exceptional stability and crisp vision.

Super Comfortable
HYDRACLEAR® Plus for all-day comfort

Patented HYDRACLEAR® Plus technology makes contacts ultra-smooth and more wettable, with a higher transmission of oxygen than cnventional lenses. That means more comfort and less dryness, even in tough surroundings such as working at a computer for long hours or traveling on an airplane.

Features

UV protection
The highest UV-A and UV-B protection available in a contact lens.‡ With Class I UV blocking, ACUVUE® OASYS blocks up to 96% UV-A and 100% UV-B radiation.‡

  1. Breathability
  2. Wettability

Breathability
Silicon Hydrogel material (senofilcon A) provides 98% of available oxygen to the eye.

Dk, or oxygen permeability, is the rate that oxygen can flow through a contact lens. Dk/t, or oxygen transmissibility, determines how much oxygen gets through a lens of a particular thickness. As you can see, these leading silicone hydrogel contact lens brands all allow nearly 100% of available oxygen to get to the eye.

Wettability
HYDRACLEAR® Plus technology: The next generation of HYDRACLEAR® permanently embeds a higher volume of moisture-rich wetting agent, resulting in a more wettable lens for all-day comfort - even in challenging environments.

Lenses with HYDRACLEAR® Plus wetting technology are better than conventional hydrogel lens brands at mimicking the naturally smooth way your tears cover the surface of your eye. That means you get a feeling that's almost like you're not wearing lenses at all.

Smoothness
Lenses with HYDRACLEAR® Plus technology are ultra smooth so every blink feels almost like you're not wearing contact lenses at all.

HYDRACLEAR® Plus technology mixes the wetting agent into the lens formula itself, making them feel so smooth and slick, you'll barely know they're there.

Easy Handling
Visibility tint
Lenses are lightly tinted blue so you can spot them in your lens case or if you drop one.

** HYDRACLEAR® Plus is Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc.'s brand name for the next generation of its proprietary technology that allows for a higher volume of a moisture-rich wetting agent in a state of the art formulation. This creates a more wettable, ultra smooth contact lens, especially for challenging environments that make eyes feel dry.

‡ Helps protect against transmission of harmful UV radiation to the cornea and into the eye. WARNING: UV-absorbing contact lenses are NOT substitutes for protective UV-absorbing eyewear such as UV-absorbing goggles or sunglasses because they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area. You should continue to use UV-absorbing eyewear as directed. NOTE: Long-term exposure to UV radiation is one of the risk factors associated with cataracts. Exposure is based on a number of factors such as environmental conditions (altitude, geography, cloud cover) and personal factors (extent and nature of outdoor activities). UV-blocking contact lenses help provide protection against harmful UV radiation. However, clinical studies have not been done to demonstrate that wearing UV-blocking contact lenses reduces the risk of developing cataracts or other eye disorders. Consult your eye care practitioner for more information.

Important information for contact lens wearers:
ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses are available by prescription only for vision correction. An eye doctor will determine whether contact lenses are right for you. Although rare, serious eye problems can develop while wearing contact lenses. To help avoid these problems, follow the wear and replacement schedule and the lens care instructions provided by your eye doctor. Do not wear contact lenses if you have an eye infection, or experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, redness or other eye problems. If one of these conditions occurs, contact your eye doctor immediately. For more information on proper wear, care and safety, talk to your eye doctor or call 1-800-843-2020.

Overnight wear of contact lenses has been shown to increase the risk of serious contact lens-related complications. Do not wear contact lenses overnight or on a continuous basis (24 hours a day, including during sleep) unless prescribed by your eye care professional.
